Stop guessing
where your
hours went.
Live timer, Pomodoro, three views over the same timesheet, and an Activity Inbox that catches the work you forgot to log.
A morning,
in fast-forward.
Open HourSlip and yesterday's work is already drafted. Accept it, start today's timer, glance at any view, then turn the week into an invoice — without typing a single entry.
- 0:0001The Activity Inbox drafts your day
- 0:0402Start tracking today, live
- 0:0703Day / Week / Calendar — one timesheet
- 0:1004Pull the week into an invoice
Captured once.
Read four ways.
No double entry, no view-switching tax. Start a timer in the morning, scrub a Day view at noon, submit a Week on Friday, audit Entries before filing. Same data underneath.
Today's timeline. GCal events as ghost overlays — drag to log. Idle detection pops if you walk away.
Timesheet grid. Submit the whole week with one click. Sun 23:59 IST — unsubmitted weeks lock so totals never drift.
Month view with daily totals and project colour-blocks. Spot the dead Tuesdays.
Flat table with date-range filter, bulk edit, project budget vs actual. Export-ready for any CA.
A Pomodoro
that respects
your day.
Not a bolt-on, not a separate log. The 25-minute timer writes to the same timesheet as your stopwatch — one source of truth, no reconciliation.

Zero typed
time entries.
Connect Google Calendar, Slack, GitHub, and Linear. Each morning, the Inbox shows up with time entries it already drafted from what you actually did yesterday.

- ePress e — editTweak hours, description, or rate before logging.
- xPress x — dismissTrains the matcher to skip that pattern next time.
Your invoice can write
itself by Friday.
Every entry already knows its client, project, ₹/hour, billable flag, and description. Pulling a timesheet into an invoice is one click — not an export, not a CSV.
| Item | Hrs | Amt |
|---|---|---|
| Polish · wk 17 | 2.78 | ₹3,034 |
| +6 entries… | 29.32 | ₹31,864 |
Raise your rate next quarter — last quarter's invoice still bills at the old number. No retroactive math, no client awkwardness.
Need to give your client an audit trail? One of the six PDF layouts prints the entry-by-entry breakdown — with date, description, and ₹/hour.
Every change to a logged entry is audited — who changed what, when, and the old value. Defensible against a section-44ADA review.
A tracker that
knows what TDS is.
Toggl, Clockify, and Harvest were built for studios in Brooklyn billing in dollars. HourSlip was built for a developer in Pune billing two clients in rupees and one in GBP — under section 44ADA, with 10% TDS deducted at source.

Free, until you
want the inbox.
Time tracking is unlimited on the Free plan. There's no entry cap, no client cap, no "trial expired" page. Pro unlocks the Activity Inbox, idle detection, heatmap, and approvals.
An honest
side-by-side.
Toggl, Clockify and Harvest are genuinely good — most freelancers we talk to already run one happily. The honest difference isn't that they track time badly; it's that none of them put a focus timer and an India-native GST invoice in one tool, so you stop being the integration layer between Toggl, Refrens and Excel.
The fine print, up front.
The things freelancers email us before signing up — answered plainly.
- Yes. The Free plan tracks unlimited time entries, unlimited clients and unlimited projects, forever — no 14-day clock, no "trial expired" wall. Pro adds the Activity Inbox, idle detection, heatmap and weekly approvals, but the timer itself is never paywalled.
- Google Calendar, Slack, GitHub and Linear. Each morning it drafts time entries from what you actually did — commits, threads, moved issues, calendar events — and you accept, edit or dismiss each with a keypress. It never logs anything without your confirmation.
- A Toggl / Clockify CSV importer is on our roadmap. For now, your new entries in HourSlip start fresh — but the timer is free and unlimited, so your FY totals build from day one. Historical data import is coming.
- It's the same data, not two tools stitched together. A tracked hour already knows its client, ₹/hour, billable flag and description, so pulling a week into a GST invoice is one click — no CSV export, no re-keying, no reconciliation on Friday evening.
- Every total runs on the Indian financial year (1 Apr–31 Mar), shows ₹/hour rather than a converted dollar figure, and is TDS-aware (194J / 194C) so your net-of-TDS numbers reconcile against 26AS at filing.
- Always. Export every time entry, client and invoice to CSV or PDF at any time, on any plan. No lock-in, no "contact sales to export" — it's your ledger.
